Today I am featuring a 'real-life' friend and that's always fun! This lovely gal lives down the road from and is interested in well, really interesting things!

Have you seen/read the Jane Austen Book club? Personally I was a big fan so I really enjoyed reading Alex's thoughts on the movie. Just for a bit of name-dropping (ha ha) I might mention that I am actually a descendant of Jane Austen's brother! As she never had children & I often wonder where are all the royalties?!?! ha ha!!

I really had to switch my brain into gear for Alex's post on History, being myopic and such things but it was worth getting out of mummy mode to actually think about these things!!


We finish off with a bit of Archaeolgoy which Alex makes interesting (& you may understand why I say then when you've finished reading the post)...hopefully she finds me a teeny bit funny!
